Role Overview:We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Consultant to design, configure and implement advanced planning solutions for our clients across demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimisation and integrated business planning (IBP / S&OP). The role connects business planning requirements with planning-platform capability helping clients improve forecast accuracy, raise service levels, optimise inventory and free up working capital.This is a platform-agnostic role. We welcome strong experience in any one (or more) of the leading planning suites SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, RELEX, ketteQ, Streamline, Oracle Fusion SCP or Oracle SCP Cloud, among others. You will work across the full delivery lifecycle discovery, solution design, configuration, integration, testing, go-live and hypercare acting as the trusted advisor who turns planning pain points into robust, maintainable solutions. Key Responsibilities:Lead or support end-to-end implementations of supply chain planning solutions from requirements gathering through configuration, integration, go-live and hypercare.Map current-state planning processes (demand, supply, inventory, S&OP / IBP cycles) and translate them into the target planning model and system design.Configure and tune planning engines statistical forecasting, demand sensing, supply / capacity planning, inventory optimisation, allocation and scenario / what-if analysis.Design and validate the master-data model required for planning: product hierarchies, locations, BOMs, lead times, sourcing rules, calendars and planning parameters.Integrate the planning solution with ERP, MES and data platforms for demand, orders, inventory and supply data; define, build and test data interfaces.Run scenario analysis and what-if planning to demonstrate trade-offs across service level, inventory, capacity and cost.Develop test scripts, lead UAT, train planners and key users, and create documentation and standard operating procedures.Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot planning anomalies and recommend continuous-improvement adjustments.Act as the liaison between business planning teams, IT and software vendors. Qualification: 2+ years hands-on experience implementing or configuring at least one leading supply chain planning / APS platform, such as SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, RELEX, ketteQ, Streamline, Oracle Fusion SCP or Oracle SCP Cloud (comparable platforms e.g. o9 Solutions, Anaplan, John Galt, OMP, Logility are equally welcome).Strong understanding of core supply chain planning concepts: demand planning, statistical forecasting, supply / capacity planning, inventory optimisation, MRP/MPS and S&OP / IBP.Working knowledge of how planning systems integrate with ERP master data and execution (orders, BOMs, routings, inventory, confirmations).Experience gathering requirements and running workshops with business and planning stakeholders.Ability to analyse and structure data strong Excel skills essential; SQL or scripting a distinct advantage.Excellent communication skills able to explain technical planning logic clearly to business users. Preferred Qualifications:Experience across multiple verticals (consumer products, life sciences, manufacturing, retail or distribution).Exposure to more than one planning platform, or willingness to cross-skill across tools.Familiarity with integration tooling / middleware and with data extraction and mapping from ERP systems.APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or vendor-specific product certifications.Prior consulting experience and exposure to full project lifecycles.Background in industrial engineering, operations management, supply chain or a related field.
