The Worldwide Grocery Store (WWGS) DC Operations and Supply Chain Integration team seeks an Instock Manager reporting to the Senior Team Leader of Supply Chain Performance Management (SCPM). This position requires expertise in querying data from business systems, transforming imperfect data into structured formats, and leveraging analytics for business insights and reporting. The role drives critical supply chain initiatives including distributor performance management, inventory optimization, contract negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with internal Whole Foods Market (WFM) teams and 3rd party suppliers.
The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, technical proficiency, and attention to detail while quickly mastering new systems and tools. Success requires developing efficient workflows using data transformation platforms (Alteryx, SQL, AWS S3) and creating compelling visualizations through Excel, Power Query, and AWS QuickSight. Strong communication skills are essential for translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to shape supply chain performance through data-driven decision-making and strategic partnership building across the organization.
First level investigation of report generation issues.
Maintenance and oversight of all sites related to data intake, manipulation, and report delivery .
Leads establishment and testing of new data inputs, and proactively identifies and resolves disruptions to existing data flows.
Creates and maintains reporting, process flow mapping and documentation of report generation processes.
Data Analysis:
Extracts and delivers raw datasets for ad-hoc analytical requests, performing initial data structuring and transformation to ensure usability.
Serves as primary point of contact for data requests from Whole Foods Market teams and third-party partners, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Translates complex data structures into actionable insights by conceptualizing optimal visualization and summarization approaches that align with business objectives.
Project Management:

Gathers project requirements, defines scope, identifies roles of key stakeholders, etc.
Lead data wrangling projects as appropriate, especially related to information flow and reporting issues.
Provides strategic guidance on methodology, implementation approaches, and tactical execution plans for new initiatives.
WFM Team Relationships:
Cultivates productive partnerships with Whole Foods Market stakeholder teams.
Assesses requests and data needs of various teams considering available Supply Chain information and reporting infrastructure.
Establishes protocols, rules, boundaries with stakeholder teams that govern current and future interactions.
3rd Party Relationships:
Perform regular analysis of ad hoc unfamiliar data and information from 3rd party suppliers to WFM.
Establish, nurture, and strengthen relationships with key 3rd party personnel.

The Supply Chain Performance Management team advocates for and gives voice to our stores, in partnership with our key distributors and other stakeholders, to improve overall quality and timeliness of service.
Basic qualifications
3+ years of with Excel experience
4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
Experience with query tools, systemic data extraction, and SQL
Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
