Job Title: Sr. Analyst,Location: India Supply Chain Analytics Mumbai / ChennaiDepartment: Commercial Seniority: ( Transportation Analyst / Sr. Analyst About the Role ) We are seeking a motivated Sr. Analyst, Transportation Analytics to support projects that drive internal operational improvements and commercial growth initiatives. In this role, you will work with raw customer data, build models, contribute to transportat network optimization analyses, and help develop analytics tools that improve transportation performance and support the sales team in competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and analyze raw customer data to support cost and pricing analytics, transportation network optimization studies, and other analyses used in sales bids and customer proposals.
• Contribute to transportation network optimization projects including lane and route optimization, mode selection analysis, fleet and carrier capacity modeling, and cost to serve modeling to help inform decisions such as network design, lane strategy or fleet and carrier investment strategies.
• Support the development of analytics applications and workflows as a subject matter expert documenting requirements, testing features, and collaborating with developers .
• Support the creation and enhancement of customer facing analytics dashboards for transportation insights (e.g., route optimization, freight and transportation cost analytics, shipment and demand forecasting).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3 5 years of experience in transportation or supply chain analytics or a quantitative operations role (internships or project based experience welcome).
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Exposure to Python and/or SQL for data analysis, modeling, and development .
• Familiarity with transportation and network optimization concepts; experience with tools such as Supply Chain Guru, or transportation routing/TMS optimization tools, is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
• Strong solving skills and the ability to work independently on well defined tasks.
