We are seeking a dedicated business studies subject-matter expert (SME) to review, validate, and improve academic content for grades 9-12. The ideal candidate should possess deep domain expertise in business management, organizational structures, corporate principles, and marketing frameworks, alongside the ability to assess content from both student and educator perspectives. This role involves ensuring the accuracy, clarity, curriculum alignment, and pedagogical effectiveness of educational materials. The final stipend offered will be based on the candidate's relevant experience.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Review and verify business studies educational content for conceptual accuracy, theoretical correctness, and subject relevance.
Ensure business studies content closely aligns with major board curriculum requirements and learning objectives for senior secondary grades.
Evaluate business case studies, corporate management principles, marketing mix strategies, financial market concepts, and organizational charts for absolute correctness and clarity.
Identify and rectify factual, conceptual, grammatical, and formatting errors.
Assess instructional content from both learner and educator perspectives to ensure effective learning outcomes and a practical, real-world understanding of business operations.
Provide detailed feedback and structural recommendations to improve content quality, case study analysis methodologies, and contextual engagement.
Collaborate with content developers, instructional designers, and academic teams to maintain high-quality educational standards.
Ensure consistency in commercial business terminology, case analysis difficulty levels, and instructional approaches across all materials.

Other requirements
Strong, specialized subject knowledge in business studies at the grades 9–12 level.
Excellent command of written English and strong language fluency.
Ability to simplify complex, domain-specific management theories, corporate laws, and commercial frameworks while maintaining academic rigor.
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and exceptional attention to detail (especially regarding business management principles, real-world corporate case examples, and business environment analysis).
Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools.
Ability to review text, qualitative application-based questions, and specialized corporate case studies critically to provide constructive feedback.
2 years of experience in business management instruction, core content development, academic publishing, or a related educational role focused specifically on business studies.
Prior experience as a business studies subject matter expert, educator, content reviewer, or academic writer is preferred.
Candidates with classroom teaching experience or a strong background in guiding students through applied business case studies will have an added advantage, as they can effectively understand student learning needs.
Candidates should be comfortable reviewing curriculum-aligned content and ensuring domain-specific conceptual accuracy, analytical clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness.
