We are seeking a psychology subject-matter expert (SME) to review, validate, and improve academic content for grades 9-12. The ideal candidate should possess deep domain expertise across foundational psychological processes, human development, therapeutic approaches, and psychological testing, alongside the ability to assess content from both student and educator perspectives. This role involves ensuring scientific accuracy, conceptual clarity, curriculum alignment, and the pedagogical effectiveness of educational materials. The final stipend offered will be based on the candidate's relevant experience.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Review and verify psychology educational content for conceptual accuracy, scientific terminology, and subject relevance.
Ensure psychology content closely aligns with major board curriculum requirements and learning objectives for senior secondary grades.
Evaluate case studies, explanations of psychological disorders, therapeutic models, psychometric assessment overviews, and biological neuroscience diagrams for absolute correctness and clarity.
Identify and rectify factual, conceptual, clinical misrepresentations, grammatical errors.
Assess instructional content from both learner and educator perspectives to ensure effective learning outcomes, ethical academic boundaries, and practical conceptual understanding.
Provide detailed feedback and structural recommendations to improve content quality, experimental case application analysis, and question design.
Collaborate with content developers, instructional designers, and academic teams to maintain high-quality educational standards.
Ensure consistency in psychological theories, research methodologies, and instructional approaches across all materials.

Other requirements
Strong, specialized subject knowledge in psychology at the grades 9–12 level.
Excellent command of written English and strong academic language fluency.
Ability to simplify complex behavioral theories, cognitive processes, and neurological mechanisms while maintaining academic rigor.
Strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of basic psychometrics/research methods, and exceptional attention to detail (especially regarding clinical screening tools, behavioral models, and psychological data).
Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools.
Ability to review text, qualitative application-based case studies, and psychological experiments critically to provide constructive feedback.
2 years of experience in psychology instruction, core behavioral content development, academic publishing, or a related educational role focused specifically on psychology.
Prior experience as a psychology subject matter expert, educator, content reviewer, or academic writer is preferred.
Candidates with classroom teaching experience, school counseling experience, or an advanced academic background in clinical/organizational psychology will have an added advantage, as they understand student cognitive development.
Candidates should be comfortable reviewing curriculum-aligned content and ensuring domain-specific conceptual accuracy, clinical/theoretical clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness.
