About the internship
We are seeking an economics subject-matter expert (SME) to review, validate, and improve academic content for grades 9-12. The ideal candidate should possess deep domain expertise in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistics for economics, alongside the ability to assess content from both student and educator perspectives. This role involves ensuring the accuracy, clarity, curriculum alignment, and pedagogical effectiveness of educational materials. The final stipend offered will be based on the candidate's relevant experience.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
- Review and verify economic educational content for conceptual accuracy, numerical correctness, and subject relevance.
- Ensure economics content closely aligns with major board curriculum requirements and learning objectives for senior secondary grades.
- Evaluate economic models, consumer and producer behavioral theories, market structures, national income calculations, and data graphs for absolute correctness and clarity.
- Identify and rectify factual, conceptual, numerical, graphical, and formatting errors.
- Assess instructional content from both learner and educator perspectives to ensure effective learning outcomes and a deep understanding of economic indicators and policies.
- Provide detailed feedback and structural recommendations to improve content quality, graph interpretations, and step-by-step statistical problem-solving methodologies.
- Collaborate with content developers, instructional designers, and academic teams to maintain high-quality educational standards.
- Ensure consistency in economic terminology, data representation accuracy, and instructional approaches across all materials.
