Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
This is not a role for someone who assembles footage. This is a role for someone who understands why a viewer stays or leaves and edits accordingly.
You get raw footage. You turn it into finished content, YouTube videos, Instagram reels, or Meta ads. Your edit decides whether someone watches or scrolls past.
Every creative decision is yours: the hook, the cuts, the B-roll, the music, the pacing. We don't direct you. We evaluate the output.
Roughly 15-20 hours of work a week. Fully flexible, no check-ins, no meetings, no fixed hours. Just deliver on time.
Desktop software only: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut desktop. Phone editing apps don't meet the output quality this role needs.

Strong understanding of video hooks and audience retention, with the ability to craft compelling openings that capture viewer attention within the first few seconds.

Experience editing long-form content, short-form content, or both, with the ability to clearly demonstrate relevant work.
Good storytelling instincts and an understanding of pacing, structure, and viewer engagement.
Attention to detail and the ability to make deliberate, creative decisions that enhance the overall viewing experience.
Proficiency in video editing software and post-production workflows.
Ability to receive feedback, iterate on edits, and collaborate effectively with content and creative teams.
