Role Description:

In this vital role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Plan to Stock solutions (Supply planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Material/Inventory Management and Batch management) across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites. This role focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to streamline and enhance Plan to Stock processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices. As an SAP Solution architect, you will work closely with operations IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and configure solutions, and provide post-implementation support. This position requires deep expertise in SAP MM, IM, PP and QM modules with a solid understanding of Logistics and Distribution processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in ERP implementation projects as part of the physical financial product team, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.
- Design, configuration, and optimization of Plan to Stock (Plant setup, MRP, Direct Procurement, Sub-contracting, Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory Management and Batch management, Inter and Intra company STO) process in SAP S/4HANA
- Good understanding of SAP Advanced Intercompany STO process
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP S/4 modules MM, FI, PP, TM, ATTP, GTS, EAS, Ariba, and EWM) as well as non-SAP systems for planning, quality and manufacturing systems like Kinaxis, MES and LIMS.
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Oversee creation and maintenance of critical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
