ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE :
- The employee will be responsible for managing Ujjivan Small Finance Banks ESG agenda across its operations, business practices, and stakeholder ecosystem.
- The employee will liaise with all the stakeholders across the Bank for ESG performance, disclosures, and regulatory compliance.
- This role will be responsible for managing the Green Portfolio - effectively monitoring the fund flow, reporting to the applicable regulatory needs & ensuring that the audited mandatory reports are placed in the public domain and shared with the stakeholders.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE :
- Support execution of the Banks ESG and Sustainability strategy.
- Liaise with cross-functional departments for the implementation of the ESG initiatives & collection of the required data for the disclosures ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure audit readiness of ESG data and documentation
- Track regulatory developments related to ESG and ensure alignment with applicable requirements.
- Maintain ESG MIS and dashboards for internal governance.
- Support preparation of Sustainability/ESG Reports and other regulatory disclosures.
- Monitor and manage the Banks green and sustainable finance portfolio.
- Track classification, sectoral exposure, monitor Asset Liability balance and the financial performance of green assets.
- Prepare periodic dashboards and analytical reports for senior management review.
Educational:
- Graduate/ Postgraduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field
Experience Required:
- 2-3 years of experience in any of the product verticals with exposure to ESG, Sustainability, Green financing or related business capacities
