Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include

1. Understand product requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria, and identify gaps, risks, and edge cases early.

1. Design creative and thorough test scenarios covering functional, negative, regression, smoke, exploratory, UI, and API testing.

1. Execute manual test cases and document observations with strong attention to detail.

1. Log, track, retest, and follow up on defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, severity, and business impact.

1. Assist in building, maintaining, and improving automated test scripts and suites for repetitive and high-impact scenarios.

1. Use AI tools responsibly to generate test ideas, draft test cases, create test data, assist with automation scripting, summarize failures, and support regression analysis, while validating all outputs before use.

1. Analyze current QA processes and suggest practical improvements that increase automation coverage and reduce repetitive manual effort.

1. Prepare clear test reports, test summaries, and release-readiness updates for stakeholders.
