Job Requirements
The NetApp Trident team seeks a skilled software engineer to join a high-performing group. The role involves designing and implementing key features for containerized storage solutions, driving innovation, contributing to open-source projects, learning new skills, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
10+ years programming experience, including at least 3 years in Go.
Background in Kubernetes and/or Cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and ability to learn new technologies.
Proficient with Linux or Unix-like OS and network troubleshooting.
Skilled with GitHub, Jenkins, CI build systems, and automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile development practices.
Solid grasp of data structures, software engineering concepts, and best coding practices.
Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Education
Typically requires a minimum of 4 - 8 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
Experience with Python (or other high-level languages).
Experience working in open-source communities.
