Meet the Team
As a member of the Supply Chain Cloud Foundational Services (CFS) team, you will be part of a small agile technical team supporting the transformation of Cisco’s Supply Chain services to public cloud. CFS is the core of the Component Business supply chain because all processes, procedures, etc. begin with CFS. Additionally, CFS is responsible for ensuring the infrastructure that the entire CBM Supply Chain team uses to develop, test, and deploy their code.
Your Impact
An experienced software engineering professional who works independently with minimal guidance, applying industry best practices to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. The role involves leading medium-sized features and projects end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, driving improvements in engineering processes and the software development lifecycle, and contributing to product strategy through technical and market awareness. The individual provides technical leadership through code reviews, production support, threat modeling, and root cause analysis, while managing project planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. Additionally, they serve as a subject matter expert, mentor junior engineers, and foster knowledge sharing and technical excellence across teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Oracle DBA expertise with strong experience in Oracle OCI PaaS Database deployment and administration, monitoring and tuning
- Experienced with OS Management Hub, OCI Security, CIS Benchmarks, Vulnerability Scanning and Remediation
- Design, deploy, and manage OCI environments, ensuring high availability, scalability and performance
- Experienced with deploying network and application load balancers, Network Security Groups, and Security Lists
- Troubleshoots and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services, providing timely support and escalation when necessary
