We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern with strong programming fundamentals and hands-on coding experience. The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing applications using Java or modern front-end technologies and be eager to work across the software development lifecycle.
Candidates with experience using AI-powered coding assistants and developer tools to improve productivity will have an advantage.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern front-end frameworks where applicable.
Develop backend services and APIs using Java or other relevant technologies.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality features.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Continuously learn and adopt new technologies that improve product quality and development speed.
Effectively utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding productivity while maintaining code quality and correctness.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (completed or pursuing final year) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong programming skills in Java or proficiency in modern front-end development using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internship or work experience in software engineering, product development, or other technical roles.
Experience building web applications, enterprise applications, or SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred AI Development Skills:
Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Gravity, or similar AI-powered coding platforms.
Ability to use AI tools for tasks such as code generation, debugging, refactoring, test case generation, documentation, code review assistance, rapid prototyping, and improving developer productivity while validating AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability, and security.

Internship Duration & Full-Time Opportunity:
This position is offered as a 6-month internship, during which interns will work closely with the engineering team on real-world product development and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
Interns who demonstrate strong technical capabilities, problem-solving skills, ownership, collaboration, and alignment with company values may be offered a full-time Software Engineer position in Bengaluru upon successful completion of the internship, subject to performance evaluation and business requirements.
Candidates are required to use their own laptops, and a stable internet connection is mandatory.
