Snowflake Admin

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our Snowflake data platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Snowflake administration, performance tuning, security, and data management, ensuring high availability and efficient data operations.

Administer and maintain the Snowflake data warehouse environment. Manage user roles, access controls, and security policies (RBAC, data masking, encryption). Monitor system performance, query optimization, and warehouse scaling. Configure and manage virtual warehouses, resource monitors, and cost optimization. Implement data loading and unloading processes (Snowpipe, COPY commands, external stages). Manage data sharing, replication, and failover strategies across regions/accounts. Troubleshoot issues related to performance, connectivity, and data pipelines. Implement backup and recovery strategies and ensure data availability. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and architects for system improvements. Automate administrative tasks using scripting (Python/Shell) or Snowflake procedures. Ensure governance, compliance, and best practices for data security and usage.
