Australian SMSF Accountant Role: SMSF AccountantExperience: 1-4 years Australian SMSF Accounting or SMSF Administration.Location: Rajkot / Ahmedabad / Delhi / Noida (on-site)Notice Period: Immediate to 30 DaysShift Timings: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM (aligned with international client operations) About the RolePNRC is seeking a detail-oriented SMSF Accountant to support Australian accounting and financial services clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing SMSF financial statements, processing fund transactions, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and supporting annual reporting obligations. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Australian SMSF accounting who are looking to build their expertise in a fast-growing outsourcing environment. Roles & Responsibilities Prepare annual SMSF financial statements and working papers. Process and reconcile fund transactions including contributions, pensions, investments, rollovers, and benefit payments. Prepare SMSF tax returns and supporting schedules. Maintain accurate member balances and investment records. Reconcile bank accounts, investment portfolios, shareholdings, and managed funds. Prepare audit workpapers and coordinate with SMSF auditors. Assist in pension calculations, minimum pension requirements, and member reporting. Review fund compliance requirements and identify potential breaches. Ensure all work complies with Australian Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act (SIS Act) requirements and ATO regulations. Communicate with Australian accounting firms, financial advisers, and internal teams to resolve queries and maintain workflow efficiency. Support process improvements and maintain documentation standards. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 14 years of experience in Australian SMSF Accounting or SMSF Administration. Strong understanding of Australian superannuation and SMSF regulations. Experience preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns. Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Skills Required SMSF Accounting & Compliance Financial Statement Preparation SMSF Tax Return Preparation Investment & Bank Reconciliations Pension and Member Balance Calculations Audit Workpaper Preparation Attention to Detail Time Management & Stakeholder Communication Preferred Skills Experience with BGL Simple Fund 360, Class Super, SuperMate, Xero, or MYOB. Exposure to Australian accounting firms and offshore service environments. Understanding of Australian taxation and superannuation legislation.
