Shopify UI/UX Designer (Design + Development)

About the job

We are an e-commerce-focused team looking for a Shopify UI/UX Designer who can own the entire journey from a blank Figma canvas to a fully functional, live Shopify storefront.

This is not a "design and hand off" role. We are looking for someone who can design, build, and ship independently whether it's a Shopify store, marketing email, or other e-commerce assets.

If you have a strong design sense, deep Shopify expertise, and the ability to translate designs into working storefronts using Liquid and front-end technologies, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design high-converting Shopify storefronts, landing pages, product pages, and collection pages from scratch using Figma.

1. Create premium, conversion-focused marketing and lifecycle email designs.

1. Design a wide range of e-commerce assets, including banners, ad creatives, social media graphics, promo sections, and pop-ups.

1. Build and maintain scalable design systems, including typography, color palettes, spacing, components, and reusable UI kits.

1. Convert Figma designs into fully functional Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

1. Customize existing Shopify themes by building new sections, blocks, and templates.

1. Work within Shopify theme architecture (sections, snippets, templates, and settings) to ensure flexibility and scalability.

1. Ensure all designs are mobile-first, responsive, performance-optimized, and conversion-focused.

1. Maintain consistent, premium visual design across all digital assets.

1. Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance insights.
