What’s the role?
Shell Canada is seeking a New Graduate Operations Analyst to join the Shell Mobility team as part of the Commercial Graduate Program. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of Shell’s retail business, with exposure to key functional areas and impactful business projects.
You’ll be embedded in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll manage a portfolio of responsibilities, work with external partners, and contribute to Shell’s mission of delivering cleaner energy solutions to Canadians.
Launch your career through our Commercial Graduate Program, a structured three-year development journey featuring two 18-month rotations across key commercial functions. The Operations Analyst role represents the first rotation, where you'll build foundational business acumen, develop analytical and operational expertise, and gain exposure to cross-functional teams. Upon successful completion, graduates will transition into a second 18-month rotation designed to broaden their commercial experience and accelerate career growth.
What you’ll be doing
Gain initial exposure to core functions such as audits, invoicing, back office operations, and lottery management, with approximately 20% involvement across each area.
Lead and support business projects that demonstrate delivery, impact, and innovation.
Manage a portfolio desk, including contracts, scheduling, and coordination with third-party vendors.

Eligibility
Recent graduate (or graduating by Summer 2026) in Marketing, Finance, Business/Commerce, or a related discipline.
Min GPA OF 3.2 (or equivalent)
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to understand the connectivity between business functions and the broader commercial strategy.
High capacity for learning and performance under pressure.
Self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and seeks stretch opportunities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Legally entitled to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Shell
