The SharePoint Developer, D&T, is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting solutions across SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 platform. This role focuses on building scalable applications, enhancing digital workplace experiences and adopting an AI-first approach to solution design and delivery, leveraging AI to improve not just development efficiency, but also user experience, automation, and business outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design, develop, customize, test, and support applications using SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 Build and enhance intranet portals, forms, and workflow automation solutions Develop solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) Architect and develop modern UI components using SPFx with React/JavaScript/TypeScript, ensuring high-performance UI/UX Integrate SharePoint with external systems using REST APIs and Microsoft Graph Embed AI-first capabilities across solutions (e.g., Copilot-enabled experiences, AI-assisted workflows, content generation, intelligent automation) to improve productivity and business outcomes Use AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate delivery cycles and improve code quality Provide support and enhancements for existing SharePoint applications Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable, and future-ready solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow development best practices to deliver intuitive, impactful digital solutions and drive continuous improvement
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Work Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in SharePoint / Microsoft 365 development
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiarity with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and integrations

Ability to think holistically about solutions, including user experience, automation, and intelligent enhancements
