About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include

School Setting One-on-One Support

1. Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or related conditions in a school setting.

1. Support children across various domains, including behaviour, emotions, social skills, and academics, using evidence-based intervention strategies.

1. Implement individualized goals and track progress through structured observation logs.

1. Send daily progress updates to parents.

1. Prepare monthly progress reports to document growth across developmental domains.

1. Receive intensive one-on-one initial training from specialized mentors in the field of psychology.

Comprehensive/Remedial Sessions Role:

Home Setting

1. Conduct one-on-one self-planned sessions focusing on child development areas such as behaviour, remedial learning, sensory skills, social skills, cognitive development, emotions, and daily living skills.

1. Build rapport and trust with the child at their own pace.

1. Design and execute personalized intervention plans targeting emotional, behavioural, and developmental goals.

1. Collaborate with senior psychologists for case guidance, supervision, and reflection.

1. Build confidence in handling sessions independently with continuous senior mentorship.
