Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Service Engineer based in Coimbatore, with frequent field travel across India and some flexibility for work-from-home activities such as remote support and documentation. The Service Engineer will perform on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of automation equipment and systems, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to technical standards. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing technical support to customers in person and remotely. The role involves preparing service reports, documenting installation details, and coordinating with the engineering and sales teams to address customer needs. The Service Engineer should be ready for extensive fieldwork, including travel on short notice, and demonstrate dedication to timely service delivery, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site and remotely.
• Hands-on field service experience, including installation, commissioning, and on-site customer interactions.
• Technical support capabilities, including remote assistance, issue escalation, and clear documentation of service activities.
• Maintenance & repair skills for industrial or automation equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Effective communication skills for working with customers, vendors, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical field role, preferably in industrial automation or related domains.
• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across India and work in varying site conditions.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and safe work practices in industrial environments.
