Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including inter-company eliminations, accruals, and sub-ledger closures for US GAAP, UK GAAP, or Ind AS.
- Global Taxation: Oversee international tax compliance, including preparing tax returns, transfer pricing documentation, and liaising with global tax authorities.
- Audit & Reconciliation: Review financial statements and perform statutory ledger reconciliations to ensure audit readiness and resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
- Process Transition & Optimization: Lead knowledge transfer from client companies to the BPO team, and drive automation or process improvements using advanced tools.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor large teams (50+ members), ensuring SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and strict deadlines are met for client deliverables.
- Client Management: Act as the primary financial liaison for overseas clients, addressing queries and providing strategic business insights.
Key Skills and knowledge:
- 3+ Years of post-qualification experience in accounting, auditing, or taxation (experience in BPO/KPO, Big 4 firms, or managing US/UK clients is highly preferred).
- Hands-on proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to work in flexible shifts to match client time zones.
