Do you want to design the foundations that shape what users experience across Autodesk every day? We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our Unified Product Experience team in Pune.The Unified Product Experience team is part of Autodesk's Shared Experiences organisation. We design the cross-product patterns, systems, and UI components that other Autodesk teams build on. Your work won't live in one product — it becomes shared design language, published to the Weave design system and adopted at scale across Fusion and the broader Autodesk platform. If you are motivated by platform-level impact and the idea of your design decisions raising the quality of many products at once, this is the role for you.
We work in close partnership with the Autodesk Weave Design System team and engineering counterparts to shape a platform growing in capability and intelligence. This includes designing AI-powered experiences - conversational interfaces, agentic workflows, and intelligent suggestions - where the UX demands particular care around trust, transparency, and user expectations. This is a hybrid position in Pune. You will report to the Manager, Unified Product Experience, and collaborate with a global team across India, the US, China, and Australia.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design of user-centric shared experiences across browser, native mobile, and desktop clients from problem framing and information architecture through to high-fidelity interfaces with a systems lens that considers how patterns scale across teams and products
- Bring particular rigour to AI-powered interactions — conversational interfaces, agentic workflows, and intelligent suggestions around trust, transparency, error recovery, and setting appropriate user expectations
- Use AI-assisted design tools fluently generative prototyping, AI-accelerated iteration, code-adjacent tooling as a core part of your design process, not an afterthought
- Contribute to the Weave design system by identifying reusable patterns, contributing documentation, and helping publish shared experiences to the Weave Extended library
- Communicate design rationale clearly across a distributed, global team, and model rigorous, constructive feedback in design reviews
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
