Senior Technical Lead
HCLTech
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and take complete ownership of features from user interface to cloud infrastructure. This is a true full-stack role where you'll be equally responsible for building React web applications, designing Node.js APIs, and architecting AWS serverless infrastructure. This role requires strong proficiency with AI-augmented development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) - you'll be expected to demonstrate this skill during the technical interview.
Note:
This role focuses on web applications and backend infrastructure. Our mobile team handles Flutter development separately, and you'll collaborate with them by designing clean, well-documented APIs. What Full-Stack Means Here
Frontend:
Build React/Next.js web applications, dashboards, and user interfaces
Backend:
Design and implement Node.js serverless APIs on AWS Lambda
Infrastructure:
Architect and manage AWS resources using SAM and CloudFormation
Privacy:
Implement end-to-end encryption architecture across all layers
Collaboration:
Work alongside mobile team, providing well-designed APIs for consumption
Key Responsibilities
As a full-stack engineer, you'll own features end-to-end across the entire technology stack: Build modern, responsive web applications using React/Next.js with excellent UX Design and implement RESTful APIs with Node.js/TypeScript on AWS Lambda Architect and manage AWS infrastructure (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, CloudWatch, KMS, API Gateway, WAF) Implement privacy-first architecture with encryption across all layers Leverage Cursor/Copilot and Claude models for AI-augmented development Write comprehensive tests across the stack (Jest, React Testing Library, API testing) Own features from conception to deployment, including UI, business logic, and data layer Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Create well-documented APIs consumed by web and mobile clients Collaborate with mobile team on API contracts and integration Skill Requirements Web Frontend (React/Next.js) React 18+ with TypeScript Next.js for SSR/SSG applications Modern state management (Context, Zustand, or Redux) Responsive design and modern CSS (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, styled-components) API integration and authentication flows Form validation and data visualization libraries Modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, etc.) Backend (Node.js/AWS) Node.js 24+ with TypeScript 5.x AWS Lambda and serverless architecture patterns AWS SDK v3 (DynamoDB, S3, SQS, CloudWatch, KMS) AWS SAM (Serverless Application Model) and CloudFormation API Gateway configuration, WAF, and Lambda authorizers RESTful API design principles and best practices OpenAPI/Swagger documentation Firebase Admin SDK for push notifications AWS Infrastructure DynamoDB data modeling, indexing, and optimization S3 for file storage, versioning, and static website hosting SQS for asynchronous processing and message queues CloudWatch for logging, custom metrics, and alarms KMS for encryption key management API Gateway for rate limiting, throttling, and usage plans IAM policies and least-privilege access principles Infrastructure as Code best practices Privacy & Security Server-side encryption implementation Key management systems (KMS, envelope encryption) Zero-knowledge architecture patterns Secure data handling and GDPR compliance Authentication and authorization patterns (JWT, OAuth, etc.) Security best practices for web applications and APIs AI-Assisted Development (CRITICAL - MANDATORY REQUIREMENT) This is not optional. We require engineers who are proficient with AI coding tools: Proficient with Cursor IDE or GitHub Copilot Experience using Claude models (3.5 Sonnet, 4.x series) Prompt engineering for code generation and refactoring AI-augmented debugging and testing Demonstrated track record of AI-assisted development velocity Must be able to demonstrate AI usage live during coding interview
