Overview We are Vision International a boutique Overseas Education Consultancy in Mumbai, specializing in providing personalized counselling for students aspiring to pursue higher education in the UK, USA, Ireland, Australia & more. Our services include personalized counselling, shortlisting universities, admission and application assistance, student visas, and end-to-end support for families. We are seeking a Senior Student Counsellor to engage with students and provide first-level counselling. The primary responsibility is to reach out to prospective students from our database, explain our services, and convert them into leads by scheduling a counselling session with the company owner (either virtual or in-person). Thereafter, you will also follow-up with the student via phone calls & WhatsApp via a proper strategy (without being pushy and salesy) to convert the student for admission. Office Location: Opposite Matunga West Railway Station
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Calling
- Call students from the provided database to inform them about our overseas education services - these will be college leads who attended our seminar or education fair, warm leads generated from strategic paid campaigns & few cold leads from lists.
- Engage in meaningful conversations to understand students interests, needs, and aspirations for studying abroad.Service Explanation
- Clearly communicate the benefits of our services, admission guidance, visa assistance
- Handle initial questions and objections professionally and empathetically.First-Level Counselling
- Provide basic guidance to students about studying abroad, including university options, country preferences, and application timelines.
- Build trust and credibility with prospective students during conversations.Lead Conversion
- Schedule virtual or in-person counselling sessions with the company owner.
- Ensure that follow-up calls are made to confirm appointments and address any doubts before the session.CRM & Database Maintenance
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student interactions and feedback in the CRM (Lead Squared).
- Submit daily and weekly reports on calls made, leads converted, and counselling sessions scheduled.Collaboration
- Coordinate with the counselling team to ensure seamless follow-up on leads.
- Work closely with the management to refine calling scripts and strategies.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Study Abroad or EdTech company.
