Senior Software Test Engineer

Key Skills & Experience

- Technical Expertise.

- BE in Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical / Computer Science

- Strong expertise in software testing lifecycle (STLC) and quality processes

- Hands-on experience in functional, reliability, and performance testing

- Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps (or equivalent), including workflow and process management

- Hands-on experience in Azure Test Plan- to create/ maintain test cases, test report in dashboard for management

- Proven ability in defect analysis and root cause identification

- Experience with system integration testing (embedded + software systems)

- Strong scripting skills in Java or C# or Python for test automation

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

- Domain Knowledge (Preferred)

- Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as:

- Modbus, HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Profibus, TCP/IP

- Familiarity with tools/platforms: FDT-DTM, AMS, AMS SNAP-ON

- ISTQB certification (Foundation or higher)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Analyze requirements, design test strategies, and prepare detailed test reports

- Perform end-to-end testing from an end-user perspective

- Execute and monitor functional, performance, scalability, stress, and load testing

- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams for resolution

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts (both Black and white box) and improve test efficiency

- Ensure accurate test documentation, traceability, and quality metrics tracking
