SpotDraft is on a mission to help legal and business teams move faster, together. Our AI-powered contracting platform is redefining how companies manage contracts, and our story deserves to be told in creative, human, and memorable ways.
Top Outcomes:
The Platform SPM owns the shared services layer: the integrations ecosystem, the API and extensibility surface, identity and access controls, and the admin infrastructure that makes SpotDraft deployable in enterprise environments. Your customers are external (admins, integration owners, partner developers) and internal (the PMs and engineers whose surfaces depend on what you build).
Platform work compounds in both directions. A well-designed shared service unlocks capabilities across every product surface simultaneously. A poorly designed one creates drag for years. Design for composability, not just correctness.
We grade outcomes, not output. The bar is the ecosystem your platform unlocks, the integrations it enables, and the enterprise deals it unblocks.
Day to Day:
Own the integration platform and ecosystem. SpotDraft connects to the tools legal teams already use: Microsoft Word, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, HRMS systems. You own the integration surface end to end: connectors, sync reliability, admin configuration, and the partner roadmap. Each integration is a distribution channel as much as a feature.
Own API, webhooks, and extensibility. You own the external API and webhook surface, and the MCP layer that lets customers plug SpotDraft into their own AI agents and workflows. Extensibility is a deliberate strategic choice. Design for composability.
Own the enterprise admin and access controls. Enterprise customers deploy into environments with strict controls: SSO/SAML, SCIM, ABAC, audit logs, data residency, compliance certifications. You own the controls that make enterprise deals possible and keep customers in-contract.
Own shared platform services. Notifications, file handling, permissions enforcement, and the other horizontal services that multiple product surfaces consume but no single surface owns. You define the interface, maintain the reliability bar, and manage the internal roadmap that keeps dependent teams unblocked.

You will work hand in hand with Development, QA, and Design through the entire build, alongside Legal Tech, PMM, Sales, SE, and Customer Success. Platform decisions also require upstream alignment with other PMs whose surfaces depend on what you build. Tight, continuous partnership with Dev, QA, and Design is non-negotiable.
Requirements:
5-8 years of relevant product management experience in a B2B SaaS product company, with a track record of shipping platform or infrastructure-adjacent capabilities that moved a business outcome.
Platform or horizontal product ownership. You have owned an API surface, integration ecosystem, or enterprise controls layer. You understand the difference between building for users and building for builders.
Systems thinking at product scope. You reason about interfaces, backward compatibility, and the compounding cost of a poorly designed abstraction. You make deliberate choices about what the platform exposes versus encapsulates.
Enterprise fluency. You understand the requirements that govern enterprise software deployment: SSO, ABAC, audit, data residency. You can distinguish table-stakes from differentiators in your segment.
Evidence-driven judgement. You instrument what you build, state confidence with support, and change your plan when the data disconfirms it. Fluent with SQL and analytics tools (Amplitude, Metabase, or equivalents).
Customer fluency. You can articulate who a product is for in the customer's terms, including technical personas: IT administrators, integration owners, and developer users.
AI fluency in your own workflow. You use AI to compress your largest time costs, which is the prerequisite for evaluating AI well in the product.
Strong written and verbal communication. Can articulate platform constraints and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus points
None of these are required, but they will set you apart:
Experience building or owning a developer-facing API, webhook platform, integration marketplace, or MCP/agent-extensibility surface.
CLM, legal-tech, or contracts domain experience.
Background in enterprise security and compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, data residency).
A background in a fast-scaling B2B SaaS environment.
Direct customer-facing experience in a Sales, Customer Success, Solutions, or pre-sales role, or a track record of close partnership with those teams.
