As the largest port organization for the past two decades, we offer a wide range of services including cargo handling, container terminal operations, logistics, port infrastructure development, and maintenance. Job Purpose: Head - Stores - Large Site manages timely receipt of material/ packages, proper storage, accounting and timely issuance to relevant user departments as per requirements. Responsible for classification, storage and liquidation of waste and scrap as per defined guidelines.
Inventory Management:
Define SOPs and guidelines for store management, inventory control and scrap management
Contribute to the design and implementation of standard systems/templates/ processes for inventory management
Store Management:
Manage the receipts of inbound material and ensure proper documentation for procured materials. Ensure all purchasing, storage, and customer billing processes comply with the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Contract Management:
Regularly review and improve contractual frameworks to ensure operational efficiency and risk mitigation. Monitor and enforce compliance with established purchasing and inventory management standards.
Asset Management:
Lead the process of identification and liquidation of non-moving inventory (NMI).
