What you'll be doing
As a member of CIBC’s team, the Senior Manager, Product Development and Delivery is a seasoned technology delivery leader responsible for overseeing complex projects and a portfolio of initiatives in a matrixed environment. This role provides day-to-day leadership, guidance, and governance oversight to project managers, ensuring consistent execution, adherence to project control procedures, and alignment with Technology’s delivery standards. Working with minimal direction, the Senior Manager applies deep project delivery expertise to drive planning, reporting, risk management, financial discipline, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation across initiatives. The role also builds strong relationships with business partners, senior leaders, delivery teams, vendors, and external stakeholders, providing clear status updates, executive-level reporting, and timely escalation of risks, issues, scope changes, and timeline constraints.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 day per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
