About the Team

Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) powers identity and access management for Oracle Cloud customers worldwide. The Identity Data Tier Engineering team owns the architecture, engineering, automation, and operational excellence of the storage layer that powers one of Oracle Cloud’s most critical Tier-0 services.

The platform powers one of Oracle Cloud's Tier-0 identity services, supporting hundreds of millions of identities globally with stringent requirements for availability, scalability, resilience, security, and operational excellence. The team is responsible for engineering the next generation of database platforms built on Oracle Exadata, Autonomous Database (ADB), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure while driving large-scale modernization, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives. We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead a highly skilled engineering organization responsible for the design, evolution, and reliability of the Identity Data Tier platform.

This role requires a technically strong engineering leader who can define long-term platform strategy, build and mentor high-performing teams, drive execution across multiple engineering organizations, and lead some of Oracle Cloud’s most critical infrastructure modernization programs.

You will work closely with OCI platform teams, Autonomous Database engineering, Exadata engineering, architecture groups, security teams, and Identity engineering organizations to deliver highly scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud database services.

Engineering Leadership

• Lead and grow a high-performing organization of software and database engineers responsible for Identity Data Tier engineering.
• Build an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture focused on continuous learning and operational excellence.
• Recruit, develop, and retain world-class engineering talent.
• Act as the senior engineering escalation point for complex technical and operational issues impacting the Identity platform.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, inclusion, and engineering excellence.
