We are searching for a creative and highly motivated engineer with expertise in system software to join the GPU System Software organization. This position offers the opportunity to have real impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company impacting product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and the growing field of artificial intelligence.
What you will be doing:
Design, develop and test key aspects of our GPU kernel driver with a focus on enabling best-in-class power, performance, security and safety that will be used across Linux, QNX and Android.
Work closely with multi-functional teams such as Hardware and Software teams to understand requirements for new hardware, SW APIs and create solutions ranging from low level hardware abstraction layers to SW using OS Kernel SW.
Perform Safety, Security analysis of the design and implement mechanisms to stay in sync with product specific safety/security requirements.
What we need to see:
BS/MS degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of relevant software development experience.
Hands on technical experience and demonstrated excellence in an environment with complex software and hardware designs.
Strong understanding of Multicore hardware, operating systems design, concurrency, virtual memory, caching, interrupts, device drivers and real-time programming.
Outstanding C programming and low-level driver experience.
Experience with ARM and RISCV based processor architecture.
