The Senior Executive – Reinsurance Accounting is responsible for executing reinsurance accounting activities including premium, claims, and commission processing, journal entries, and reconciliations. The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial reporting while supporting audits and stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities A. Transaction Processing & Accounting
Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all transactions
Support monthly/quarterly close activities
C. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare financial and management reports
Support regulatory reporting (if applicable)
Perform variance analysis and highlight key insights
D. Audit & Compliance
Support internal and external audits
- Ensure adherence to:
Accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS)
Internal controls and compliance requirements
Maintain process documentation and SOP adherence
Managing accounting for Ceded Premium, commission, UEP,Claims, reserves and cash
Calculation and booking of manual top side journals
Performing Balances sheet and Intercompany reconciliations
Preparation of Management & Financial Reporting
Preparation of regulatory reporting
Bachelor degree with 1 - 2 years of relevant experience

Graduate in Accounting or MBA Finance 2-4 years of experience in Reinsurance Operations
