Senior Devops Engineer

Position: Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform (AWS) We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for distributed backend systems running on Kubernetes (Amazon EKS). The role requires strong ownership of the entire cloud infrastructure platform end-to-end AWS resources, including Kubernetes, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and highly available, while supporting mission-critical and high-throughput workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for backend platforms on Kubernetes (EKS)
• Own and operate the Kubernetes platform end-to-end (provisioning, upgrades, scaling, and maintenance), with deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, core components, and operational best practices to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance in production environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, Ansible, or Serverless
• Manage AWS services: AWS EKS(Kubernetes) , AWS MSK (Kafka), S3, RDS, EC2, Redis Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
• Design VPC architecture, networking, and secure connectivity (peering, routing)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Implement observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
• Ensure security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance readiness
• Optimize systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Support high-volume, distributed, mission-critical systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-cloud (Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with event-driven / streaming architectures
• Exposure to OTA, IoT, or large-scale distributed backend systems
