Department: Accounting & BookkeepingReporting To: Account Level Team LeadLocation: Bangalore WhitefieldEmployment Type: PermanentSalary: As per market standardsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Client Accountant to manage a portfolio of US-based clients, oversee daily bookkeeping, and handle monthly-end close processes. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, team management skills, and the ability to ensure timely and high-quality financial reporting.Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of US clients, handling daily bookkeeping and month-end close
• Ensure bookkeeping is performed in accordance with accounting principles and standards
• Execute and review month-end close activities, including:
• Bank Reconciliations
• Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliations
• Inter-company reconciliations
• Accounts finalization
• Take full ownership of allocated client accounts, ensuring timely closures and monitoring work progress
• Perform detailed review of work completed by preparers to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines, especially during month-end
• Work on cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, etc.)
• Coordinate directly with clients for day-to-day communication and issue resolution
• Manage workflow, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple client engagements
• Supervise and manage a team of preparers/staff, including utilization tracking and performance monitoring
• Collaborate closely with junior team members and support their day-to-day activitiesQualifications
• CA / CPA / ACCA (Qualified or Part Qualified)
• CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.ComExperience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping
• At least 1 year of experience in a reviewer/senior role
• Experience handling US clients preferredKey Skills & Competencies
