We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in VMware virtualization, Citrix environments, and Windows administration, along with a solid focus on automation and operational efficiency. The role involves managing enterprise infrastructure, improving system reliability, and reducing manual effort through automation
You Will Make an Impact By:
Virtualization (VMware Focus)
Manage and support VMware vSphere / ESXi environments
VM provisioning, templates, snapshots
HA, DRS, vMotion operations
- Perform:
Capacity planning and performance tuning
Troubleshooting CPU, memory, and storage issues
Work with storage and backup teams for VM-level operations
Administer Windows Server (2016–2022) environments
- Manage:
OS patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
Basic Active Directory operations (users, groups, GPO understanding)
- Troubleshoot:
OS-level issues, service failures, and performance bottlenecks
Automation & Scripting
- Automate infrastructure tasks using:
PowerShell (mandatory)
VMware PowerCLI
- Develop scripts for:
VM provisioning and reporting
Health checks and alerting
Patch and compliance reporting
Work towards reducing manual operational effort
Cloud & Hybrid Exposure
- Basic exposure to:
Azure / AWS environments
Support hybrid workloads and VM provisioning in cloud
Monitoring & Operations
Work with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Datadog, etc.)
- Troubleshoot:
Performance issues across infra layers
- Participate in:
Incident, problem, and change management DR drills and recovery validation
Skills You Bring:
BE/B.Tech with 8-10 years of experience
Strong experience of VMware vSphere / ESXi (must-have)
Hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
Solid knowledge of Windows Server administration
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
Strong troubleshooting skills across virtualization and OS layers
Preferred Skills: (Optional)
Good to Have
Nutanix AHV exposure
Experience with Azure / AWS cloud platforms
Knowledge of backup tools (Veeam/Commvault)
Exposure to automation tools (Ansible/Terraform)
