We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Strategy Development to join the Digital Area – Group Functions. In this senior role, you will orchestrate strategy across the organisation, translate it into clear priorities and integrated roadmaps, and enable leadership to make aligned investment decisions across platforms and domains.
You are a strategic business analyst with strong orchestration and communication skills. You excel at bringing disparate strategies into one coherent view, and translating that into actionable priorities, roadmaps and investment recommendations. You work horizontally across platforms, functions and leadership stakeholders, leading through influence and clarity.
You recognize yourself in several of the following: You have 10+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, digital strategy, portfolio management, or related roles in complex, global environments. You have a proven track record of orchestrating strategy across multiple business and digital domains, bringing clarity and alignment where there is complexity. You are skilled at translating business direction and multiple strategic inputs into integrated priorities and investment recommendations. You are comfortable working across business and technology, partnering with platform teams, architects, and senior stakeholders. You understand how to balance growth, low-cost, simplicity and standardisation, and can frame trade-offs clearly. You have strong experience in portfolio and investment management, including backlog framing, prioritisation, and sequencing. You are experienced in dependency mapping and sequencing across platforms and initiatives. You lead through influence and collaboration, helping teams align around one integrated direction. You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy building clarity and momentum in maturing organisations. You are motivated by the IKEA vision and culture.
The must-haves we see for this role: 10+ years of relevant experience in digital / IT / business transformation roles, with strong exposure to strategy development, portfolio management and business analysis. Proven experience working in a global organisation, with multiple stakeholders, platforms, and competing priorities. Strategy Landscape Orchestration: Ability to bring together key strategies (business, architecture, platform, supplier) and ensure they are relevant, complete, and aligned across the organisation. Strategy Translation: Skill in converting strategic direction into integrated priorities, roadmaps, and investment recommendations that teams can execute. Cross-Domain Alignment: Experience aligning product, engineering, and change initiatives around one coherent direction across platforms and domains. Portfolio Prioritisation: Demonstrated ability to enable trade-offs and sequencing across initiatives, dependencies, and value outcomes. Decision Enablement: Capability to provide clear insights, analysis, and recommendation material to support leadership decisions and governance. Strong analytical and communication skills. Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to work with senior leaders and cross-functional partners with credibility. High proficiency in spoken and written English.
