Senior Business Analyst - Data Analysis, Agile Methodology

The Senior Business Analyst at HCL will be responsible for data analysis, business analysis, and Agile methodology to support various projects and initiatives. The role involves interpreting and analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions. Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, document, and interpret client requirements; propose IT solutions aligned with Capital Markets trends.

• Analyse financial data and market movements to deliver actionable insights for business optimization and strategic decisions.
• Develop and maintain systems requirements documentation; assist in solution design and transformation roadmaps.
• Participate in client meetings for requirement elicitation and solution exploration.
• Application analysis and support including incident analysis

Skill Requirements Strong understanding of Financial Markets, Financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Trading Platforms.

• Excellent analytical ability, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in business analysis techniques and gap analysis
• Attention to detail, logical thinking, and ability to work on global projects.
• Good Analytical ability and Problem-solving skills
• Previous development experience in Capital Markets, Financials Service in Business Process Improvement/ Platform Reengineering will be ideal
• Experience of capital markets systems like Charles River, Summit, Murex etc. will be handy

Other Requirements

1.Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification preferred
