The Program Manager, Platform - CBG Projects, will be a key leader in driving the successful delivery of strategic platform initiatives and enhancements within the Consumer Banking Group. This role involves overseeing complex projects that leverage technology to transform customer journeys, improve efficiency, and expand DBS's reach within the consumer finance ecosystem. The Program Manager will ensure alignment with the bank's strategic goals and contribute to maintaining DBS's position as a digital leader in the banking industry
Key Accountabilities
Portfolio Governance & Delivery Oversight
Ensure effective tracking, monitoring, and governance of all projects within the portfolio.
Drive adherence to timelines, milestones, dependencies, and organizational standards.
Strategic & Annual Planning
Support leadership in translating business strategy into actionable roadmaps and execution plans.
Facilitate annual operating plans, quarterly reviews, and prioritization exercises.
Generate insights and recommendations for leadership reviews.
Financial Management
Manage annual budget planning and periodic forecasting.
Track actual spend against approved budgets.
Monitor vendor, resource, and project-related costs.
Highlight budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with business, RMG, product, technology, finance, and operations teams.
Facilitate governance forums and leadership reviews.
Ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
Required Experience
9+ years of experience with a proven track record in the financial services and/or banks, ideally in managing developments for retail banking
Proven experience in program or project management within the financial services industry, specifically with a focus on platform development or large-scale technology projects.
Strong understanding of Consumer Banking products, services, and customer journeys.
Demonstrated experience in managing projects utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
Solid understanding of risk management principles and regulatory compliance within the banking sector.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives, API integrations, and emerging technologies with AI mindset.
