About the job
Key responsibilities
Develop assigned design areas under the guidance of the Project Manager.
Prepare CAD design drawings as per GSA standards, including DD, TD, and GFC drawings.
Create and develop 3D models using SketchUp, Lumion, or equivalent software.
Produce rendered plans, sections, elevations, and views for presentations.
Assist in preparing conceptual design presentations and presentation packages.
Attend meetings and prepare accurate Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) under PM guidance.
Coordinate with consultants through calls, emails, and meetings.
Participate actively in GSA groups and team initiatives.
Conduct local project site visits and prepare site visit reports.
Guide and train trainees, junior architects, and junior draftsmen.
Review drawings and presentations prepared by junior architects.
