Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be working as Direct Marketing Specialist in Retail Channel. You will be a part of Electrification business area for Smart Building division based in Kolkata, India. You will be responsible for ensuring the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Achieves both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for identifying and develop new sales opportunities.

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Buildings Business to be based at KOLKATA, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Channel & Relationship Management: Establish and manage distributor, dealer, and retailer networks while developing joint business plans and ensuring effective receivable and conflict management.
- Sales Execution: Forecast, implement, and reach sales targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly) across assigned territories, managing primary to tertiary sales.
- Marketing & Promotion: Plan and execute promotional activities such as retailer meets, seminars, exhibitions, and in-shop branding to enhance product visibility and sales growth.
- Coordination & Reporting: Collaborate with internal teams (Channel, Branch, Service, Marketing) and generate regular performance and sales reports for business review.
