About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include

1. Set up and maintain the gprMax simulation environment using Docker and Linux systems

1. Write Python scripts and .in files to model 2D and 3D electromagnetic wave propagation through varying soil dielectrics such as sand, clay, and loam

1. Model strict physical constraints within electromagnetic simulation environments

1. Extract raw A-scan data and write Python scripts to plot and visualize resulting B-scans and radargrams

1. Automate the generation of large synthetic datasets for future AI training purposes

COMSOL MATLAB Simulink

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

1. can start the internship between 16th May'26 and 20th Jun'26

1. are available for duration of 3 months

1. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Exposure to Cadence AWR will be highly advantageous

1. Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Matplotlib, file handling)

1. Basic understanding of EM theory, wave propagation, and dielectric permittivity
