Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager Sales (Hospital Marketing) will be responsible for driving IPD (InPatient Department) business by developing strong referral networks with family physicians, general practitioners, and clinics. The role focuses on increasing patient inflow, strengthening doctor engagement, and contributing to the overall revenue growth of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Referral Development
Develop and manage relationships with family physicians, GPs, and referral partners.
Identify, map, and onboard new referring doctors within the assigned territory.
Promote hospital services, specialties, and consultants to external stakeholders.
Ensure regular follow ups to maintain long term engagement and consistent referral flow.
Coordinate with consultants, operations, and front office teams for seamless patient conversion.
Maintain MIS reports related to referrals and share insights with senior management.
Support marketing campaigns, outreach programs, and brand building initiatives.
Gather market intelligence and provide competition analysis.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and ethical business practices.
Strategic Growth Programs
Achieve growth in IPD referrals from family physicians.
Onboard and activate new referring doctors.
Improve OPD to IPD conversion ratio.
Contribute to territory wise revenue targets.
Organize CMEs, health talks, and doctor engagement activities.
