Job Description

The attorney will be a member of Brookfield’s real estate group and serve as legal lead for certain of Brookfield’s real estate funds. No prior experience is required in real estate funds or funds legal operations, but the candidate must have a background in private equity fund formation.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead in-house counsel embedded in Brookfield’s real estate business group for a variety of real estate funds, including real estate equity, credit and secondary closed-end and open-end funds

• Oversee real estate fund legal operations throughout the lifecycle of the real estate funds in coordination with various business stakeholders

• Lead fundraising for co-invests, club funds and certain bespoke new products
