Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the local business unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are delivered to the customer.

This role is contributing to the ABB India, Electrification Business Smart Power Division in India. will be based at “Nelamangala - Bangalore – India”.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Testing & Inspection Conduct incoming, in-process, final inspection, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to ensure products, systems, and software meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

- Quality Assurance & Process Support Support supplier quality, production quality, testing, validation, and engineering activities by ensuring effective test methods, equipment performance, and process compliance.

- Performance & Cost Optimization Develop and execute testing plans, establish performance baselines, optimize test cycle times, and ensure cost-effective testing operations while meeting quality and safety standards.

- Quality Training & Risk Management Deliver quality-related training, promote a culture of quality and integrity, conduct risk assessments, and implement safe working practices across testing and production activities.
