Incoming Inspection SpecialistIn this role, you will be responsible for executing and managing incoming quality inspections to ensure that materials and components meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. You will maintain inspection plans and documentation, perform measurements and inspections, manage non-conformities, and coordinate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support overall quality assurance and continuous improvement activities. Your job: Maintain and update incoming inspection plans based on control plan inputs Create, update, and manage incoming inspection plans (measurement steps) in SAP Perform incoming material inspections and record accurate CMM and document results Verify, archive, and maintain inspection and certification documents, including Certificates of Conformity (CoC) Identify non-conformances, initiate supplier complaints, and launch Q2 processes; escalate complex quality issues to SQA/SQD teams as required Coordinate blocking, segregation, and sorting of non-conforming or suspect parts Organize and manage return shipments of defective parts to suppliers Ensure compliance with internal quality processes and applicable ISO standards Our requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or a Diploma with relevant experience, and 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Incoming/Quality Inspection Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and GPS, with solid knowledge of measurement accuracy standards (VDA 5, MSA) Proficient in using measurement and inspection equipment, including 3D measurement systems, and performing gauge and instrument calibration with Fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong documentation and coordination skills Experienced in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, A3, Ishikawa, and 5-Why, with a good understanding of manufacturing and production environments Skilled in KPI monitoring and trend analysis, with working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, ARIS, and CAQ systems
