Responsible for end-to-end quality assurance of structural steel fabrication at vendor shops and field erection at the semiconductor facility site. Serves as the primary quality interface with the General Contractor (GC), PMC, and structural sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, drawings, and project specifications.
Conduct shop inspections at fabricators and field inspections during erection, bolting, and grouting activities.
Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), WPS/PQR, and welder qualification records.
Monitor and document dimensional checks, fit-up, weld visual inspection, and NDE activities (UT, MT, PT, RT).
Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs); drive timely closure with root cause analysis.
Coordinate with GC, PMC, and third-party inspection agencies for hold/witness point sign-offs.
Prepare daily quality reports, inspection summaries, and presentation decks for management review.
Maintain and update quality trackers, punch lists, and closure logs in MS Excel/Project.
Strong knowledge of relevant IS, AWS and ASTM codes
Familiarity with SMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes

Experience in semiconductor, data centre, or cleanroom facility projects is a strong plus.
