The Purchase Manager is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services required by the organization. The role involves vendor management, cost control, timely purchasing, and ensuring quality standards are met.Key Responsibilities:Plan, develop, and implement purchasing strategiesIdentify reliable vendors/suppliers and maintain strong relationshipsNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliersEnsure timely procurement of materials, goods, and servicesMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments for requirementsEvaluate supplier performance and ensure quality compliancePrepare purchase orders and maintain procurement recordsEnsure cost-effectiveness and budget adherenceHandle logistics coordination and delivery follow-upsEnsure compliance with company policies and legal regulationsRequired Skills & Competencies:Strong negotiation and communication skillsVendor management and relationship-building abilityGood knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain managementAnalytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, Zoho and focusAttention to detail and organizational skillsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fieldProven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar roleExperience:57 years of relevant experience in purchasingPreferred Attributes:Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong ethical standards and integrityTeam management skills (if handling a team)
