It specializes in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of dermatology and skincare products used by consumers and professionals. The company works with a range of skincare brands and formulations, including moisturizers, cleansers, antihistamine tablets for skin allergies, and antifungal products aimed at helping people with different skin concerns. Currently our client is engaged in marketing around 25 DERMA BRANDS with PAN INDIA operations.
About the Role
They are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant to support our Procurement and Supply Chain team. This role is ideal for freshers and early-career professionals who want to build their career in Purchase, Procurement, Vendor Management, and Supply Chain Operations.The candidate will assist in purchasing activities, vendor coordination, documentation, inventory support, and logistics tracking while gaining hands-on experience in procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Coordination
- Communicate with suppliers for order updates and delivery information.
- Follow up with vendors regarding dispatch schedules and expected delivery dates.
- Maintain and update vendor contact details and records.
- Assist in collecting and maintaining vendor documentation. Purchase Documentation
- Maintain purchase orders (POs), invoices, GRNs, and procurement records.
- Update procurement-related information in ERP systems and Excel sheets.
- Ensure all records are organized and easily accessible.
- Support audit documentation and compliance requirements. Logistics & Inventory Support
- Track incoming shipments and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the stores team for material receipt and verification.
- Report any shortages, damages, or delivery delays to senior team members.
- Assist in monitoring inventory-related activities. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare basic reports and procurement summaries.
- Assist in generating MIS reports for management review.
- Maintain proper filing systems, both physical and digital.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team as required.
