Propulsion Requirement Verification & Validation Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with 4-6 years of experience to join our Systems Engineering team, with a focus on Requirements Verification & Validation (RVV). The ideal candidate shall have hands-on experience in systems engineering topics (RVVM, MBSE, RE) with the Propulsion domain and a proven track record of ensuring the quality and integrity of complex engineering projects.
Exp: 4-6 years of experience
The various activities to be performed are: Organize & Plan ● Lead the creation of a Requirements and V&V Management Plan (RVVMP) being a component of the overall Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP). ● Ensuring alignment with the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) by identifying and defining the Requirements Engineering activities necessary to support the development objectives. ● Work with the Propulsion domain to establish and document the project's Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy and plan.
Operate & Execute ● Provide support during the elicitation and analysis phases of requirements. ● Establishing and maintaining traceability of requirements across different levels of Propulsion development and with other artefacts. ● Manage the evolution of Requirements Baselines throughout the development lifecycle. ● Ensure that decisions, assumptions, and rationales behind requirements are properly documented. ● Contribute to defining the Propulsion specific V&V activities for each requirement and their integration into the program's overall planning. ● Identify and document any non-compliance issues found during V&V activities Monitor & Report ● Track the progress of requirements activities against the RVVMP and SEP. ● Facilitate and document requirements-related reviews. ● Monitor the status of V&V activities and report on their progress. ● Preparing regular status reports on V&V activities for key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Expertise ● Systems Engineering Fundamentals: Basic understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle. ● Domain Experience: Experience with the Propulsion domain as part of the Development lifecycle ● Requirements Management: Familiarity with requirements elicitation, analysis, and traceability. ● Verification & Validation: An understanding of V&V concepts and methodologies. ● Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. ● Detail-Oriented: A methodical approach to work and a keen eye for detail.
Soft Skills ● Assertive communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ● Ability to work independently & in a transnational team environment. ● Strong analytical and problem solving skills required to resolve technical open points. ● Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
