This Position reports to:
Proposal manager
The Proposal Specialist plays a central role in delivering competitive, technically sound solutions for Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) field service modernization. This position serves as a key liaison between sales, engineering, and operations, ensuring the development of accurate, timely, and profitable proposals that support growth in the LV/MV market. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong project management capabilities, excels in both written and verbal communication, and demonstrates a proactive, customer-focused sales mindset.

The role supports the: Electrification service division (ELSE)
Requirements
- Solution Development & Cost Estimation
Develop technical and financial solutions tailored to field service activities and LV/MV modernization needs. Apply Full Cost Model methodology to ensure proposals remain competitive and profitable. Provide expert guidance on field service timelines, technical requirements, and resource allocation. Collaborate with engineering and operations to validate feasibility and accuracy
- Bid & Proposal Management
Prepare professional responses to RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposals). Manage proposal documentation workflow, ensuring compliance with internal protocols, legal reviews, and pricing approvals. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Regional Sales, Purchasing, Vendors) to generate accurate costs and negotiate favorable terms. Meet aggressive timelines while maintaining high quality standards
- Vendor & Internal Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder plants, product specialists, and third-party vendors. Ensure rapid and favorable responses to customers and internal requests. Facilitate seamless communication between field service operations and sales teams. Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to optimize company profitability
