About goSTOPS
goSTOPS is India's fastest-growing backpacker hostel chain, built on the belief that travel should be accessible, social, and unforgettable. With a presence across the country's most iconic destinations; from the mountains of Kasol to the ghats of Varanasi - goSTOPS offers curated, community-driven stays that bring travellers together. Founded with a mission to redefine budget travel in India, goSTOPS combines thoughtfully designed spaces, vibrant common areas, and a deeply local experience to create stays that go far beyond a bed for the night. As we scale rapidly across new cities and towns, we are looking for passionate individuals who share our love for travel, people, and growth to join us on this exciting journey. About the Role As an Events Operations Program Specialist for the goHOST project, you will be the engine that keeps our event pipeline running. You'll work closely with the Community Product Manager to ensure that goSTOPS spaces across the country are consistently activated with events and community experiences. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role; expect to spend a significant chunk of your day on calls with leads, hosts, and event organizers, turning interest into confirmed bookings. Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the outreach pipeline: make proactive calls and follow-ups with event leads, local hosts, and potential partners to drive confirmed bookings across goSTOPS locations.
- Maintain and regularly update the events pipeline tracker across all properties using Google Sheets.
- Coordinate with on-ground teams at goSTOPS properties to confirm logistics, space readiness, and event requirements ahead of each booking.
- Support the listing and updating of spaces and events on third-party platforms like District, Bookmyshow and other event discovery channels.
- Assist in onboarding new hosts by scheduling introductory calls, sharing relevant materials, and gathering basic information.
- Flag pipeline gaps or low-activity locations to the Community Product Manager and help brainstorm quick fixes.
- Document lead status, and conversion notes consistently to ensure clean pipeline hygiene.
- Support post-event follow-ups to collect feedback and build long-term relationships with recurring hosts and organizers.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Recently completed a degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or any related field.
- Strong communication skills: you should be comfortable picking up the phone and having confident, friendly conversations with strangers.
